The short version: We collect only what we need to run the app. We don't sell your data. Photos you upload are processed by AI and then discarded — we don't store them long-term.
InstantGC is operated by InstantGC ("we," "us," or "our"). The app helps real estate investors and contractors generate renovation cost estimates from property photos. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@instantgc.app.
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. Guest users are assigned an anonymous identifier with no personal information attached.
Property data. Addresses, square footage, year built, and system ages you enter into the app. This information is stored in your account to support your project history.
Photos. Photos you take or upload are sent to our cloud infrastructure for AI analysis. They are temporarily stored in Firebase Storage during processing and deleted within 30 days. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
Usage data. We record when you create projects and run estimations to enforce your subscription limits. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
Device information. We may collect your iOS version and device type for debugging purposes only.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
InstantGC uses the following third-party services to operate:
Your account data and project history are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account, which removes all associated data within 30 days.
Photos uploaded for analysis are deleted from our storage within 30 days of upload.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@instantgc.app. We will respond within 30 days.
InstantGC is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted transit (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules that restrict data access to the authenticated account owner, and authentication via Google OAuth 2.0. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
